Let others fail first
Learning from your mistakes is good. But, chances are, it’s the mistakes you haven’t made that will sink your business.
You want to succeed now, figuring out what you did wrong after the fact is not an acceptable solution.
Good entrepreneurs learn from their own mistakes. Great entrepreneurs learn from others’ mistakes (Dave Mcclure).
This is what 21 lives is about. Sharing mistakes and insights from my experiences, readings and the people I know.
Maybe your problem is new. So, ask the difficult questions. Get entrepreneurs you know to talk about their failures – what they should have done differently.
The more paths to failure you know, the better equiped you are to face the challenges of the enrepreneurial life.

21 lives is a digest of hand-picked lessons and stories meant to inspire and expand your mind. Together, we'll see what Babe Ruth, JFK and my dad can teach us about business, work or, maybe even, life. We can do more. My personal goal is to inspire action towards whatever you wish to do with your life.

That’s very true however, we entrepreneurs being creative, passionate and go getter, very often than not we suffer “I’ll make it work” or “I’ll figure it out” syndrome, which in it own self has the biggest lesson to be learned – we don’t need to figure out each and everything by ourselves, we should leverage upon knowledge and info available from those who have been there and done that…
I recently documented and shared the lessons that I learned the hard way (by making mistakes) … Take a look: http://under30ceo.com/30-business-lessons-i-learned-before-30/
Very true! The wheel doesn’t need to be reinvented. Entrepreneurs often waste time on value-less activities only to run out of gas before the finish line. As you say, keep it simple!
Great post, I’ll definitely share it on our Facebook page. Thanks for sharing!
